Nightclubs, Gardaí, and funerals: Inside RTÉ's documentary on Dublin's Camden St
A NEW RTÉ documentary on Dublin’s Camden Street will focus on the street’s offbeat mix of businesses – from funeral homes to nightclub’s favoured by the city’s students.
Gardaí were filming today for The Camden Mile – a one-off ‘observation documentary’ on the bustling street, due in late spring.
Robert Lanigan of Waka TV, the production company behind the documentary, said it would explore a day in the life of the street:

The broad range of business involved in the documentary includes the men’s clothing shop B Lynch and Sons, a funeral home, a new sexual health clinic, and some of the street’s famous nightspots, like Flannery’s and The Bernard Shaw.
The Kevin Street Community Gardaí are currently being filmed working with the shopkeepers of the street.
The Camden Mile will be filming on Camden Street all this week, and is due to be broadcast in April.
